8.two-time, three-time
英國(guó)人吐槽：The phrase I've watched seep into thelanguage (especially with broadcasters) is "two-time" and"three-time". Have the words double, triple etc, been totally lost?Grammatically it makes no sense, and is even worse when spoken. My pulse risesevery time I hear or see it - which is not healthy as it's almost every daynow. Argh!
我經(jīng)歷過(guò)的滲透到英語(yǔ)里的美式短語(yǔ)(特別是播音員使用的)是"two-time(兩倍)"和"three-time(三倍)"。難道double啊triple啊這些詞都徹底消失了么?從語(yǔ)法上來(lái)說(shuō)，這根本不合理，而用在口語(yǔ)中就更糟糕了。每次聽到或者看到它我就心跳加速。這是不健康的，因?yàn)楝F(xiàn)在幾乎每天都要來(lái)上一次。唉!

英國(guó)人吐槽：Using 24/7 rather than "24 hours, 7days a week" or even just plain "all day, every day".
不用"24 hours, 7 days a week"，也不用簡(jiǎn)單直接的"all day, every day"來(lái)表達(dá)"全天候"，非要用24/7。

10.a million and a half
英國(guó)人吐槽：The most annoying Americanism is "amillion and a half" when it is clearly one and a half million! A millionand a half is 1,000,000.5 where one and a half million is 1,500,000.
最讓人惱火的美式英語(yǔ)是"a million and a half"，正確的說(shuō)法明明是one and a half million. A million and a half是1000000.5，one and a half million是1500000。
英式表達(dá)：one and a half million
注：關(guān)于half的用法，美式英語(yǔ)說(shuō)"a half hour(半小時(shí))"而不是"half an hour"也讓英國(guó)人很不爽，大家要注意呀!
11.my bad
英國(guó)人吐槽：People that say "my bad" after amistake. I don't know how anything could be as annoying or lazy as that.
那些在犯錯(cuò)后說(shuō)"my bad(我的錯(cuò))"的人，我真不知道還有什么事能讓人這么惱火、將懶惰體現(xiàn)得這么淋漓盡致。
英式表達(dá)：That's my fault.
12.That'll learn you.
英國(guó)人吐槽：I am increasingly hearing the phrase"that'll learn you" - when the English (and more correct) version wasalways "that'll teach you". What a ridiculous phrase!
我越來(lái)越經(jīng)常聽到人說(shuō)"that'll learn you(這是給你的教訓(xùn)。) "—明明英語(yǔ)(而且也是更加正確)的說(shuō)法是"that'll teach you"."That'll learn you"什么的簡(jiǎn)直荒謬到家了!

13.Where's it at?
英國(guó)人吐槽：I really hate the phrase "where's itat?" This is not more efficient or informative than "where isit?" It just sounds grotesque and is immensely irritating.
我真的很討厭"where's it at? (XXX在哪兒?)"這個(gè)短語(yǔ)。它又不比"where is it?"更有效率或是含有更多信息，聽起來(lái)很怪，而且非常惹人厭。

14.train station
英國(guó)人吐槽：Train station. My teeth are on edge everytime I hear it. Who started it? Have they been punished?
Trainstation(火車站)。每次聽到它，我就很惱火。誰(shuí)最先開始用這個(gè)詞的?那些人沒(méi)有被罰嗎?

15.shopping cart
英國(guó)人吐槽：I caught myself saying "shoppingcart" instead of shopping trolley today and was thoroughly disgusted withmyself. I've never lived nor been to theUSeither.
我發(fā)現(xiàn)自己今天說(shuō)了"shopping cart(購(gòu)物手推車)"而不是shopping trolley，自我厭惡到了極點(diǎn)。我從沒(méi)去過(guò)美國(guó)，也沒(méi)在美國(guó)生活過(guò)。
